What is Bullish and Bearish Market?

In the stock market, the animal Bull is used to depict a high surge in positive energy and it is usually represented in green color. It is said that a market or a stock is bullish when its price is continuously increasing. As opposite when the market is falling continuously it is termed as bearish market. The Bear is of red color. Stock prices seem to be falling in a bearish market.
