What can be traded in Stock Market?

Stock market as the name suggests is a place wherein stocks of various companies are traded. Now there are 2 segments of trades 1. Equity or Cash 2. Derivatives (Futures OR Options) Stocks are traded in the equity or cash segment. Some blue chip stocks are also traded in groups called as derivatives. E.g XYZ stock has a stock price of INR350, it can be traded at INR 350. Now futures of that XYZ can be traded in lot sizes.
